PSCTMC Bargaining Update #8

It’s becoming increasingly clear—through the changes management is pushing and their outright dismissal of our common-sense proposals—that Tarzana expects all of us to accept their cuts and takeaways without resistance. ⚠️

You’ve all seen the letters, and yes, they reflect exactly what we’re hearing at the bargaining table. Changes are coming, and they aren’t just limited to high earners—they affect everyone.

We’re seeing cuts to Health Incentive Funding, increased costs for family insurance—with premiums rising from 8% to 10%—and takeaways to our retirement security. These changes hit every nurse and professional, regardless of pay scale. 💸
The message is simple: they want us to do more with less. Their plan is to keep us stagnant on safety, accept economic cuts across the board, and stretch ourselves even further.

That’s why it’s so important for us to continue showing our strength 💪. We need to stay united, stay informed, and be prepared for anything. Management is counting on us to back down—but together, we can push back and demand the respect and resources we deserve. ✊
