PCSTMC Bargaining Update: #18
Today was our first day back at the bargaining table since the strike, and bargaining team members came ready to work and ready to move this contract forward. We also invited 121RN members to join via Zoom.
Members have every right to attend bargaining. It’s your contract, your workplace, and your safety on the line.
The moment the hospital’s negotiating team walked in and saw so many of you on Zoom, the Chief Negotiator balked — then walked out of the room, taking the entire management team with him.
They refused to bargain.
They refused to face members.
And they refused to address the issues that impact your health & safety, including:
- Mold exposure
- Water intrusion in the OR
- Safety hazards impacting both patients and nurses
In essence, management refused to discuss the real problems inside PCSTMC.
We need you with us on Monday, March 16
when bargaining resumes.
We’re inviting all members to join us Monday.
Together, let’s show our strength. If you want to come out, fill out the RSVP. Your presence matters, and it sends a message management can’t ignore.
