You are your patients best advocates at the bedside. You can also be their voice in the public sphere. No one sees the impact of unsafe staffing, or corporate hospital corner-cutting, the way that you do.

You know what the union difference is because you’ve lived it. It is the pride you felt when you and your colleagues joined together to stop a policy that would harm patients. It is the confidence you have, knowing you have the freedom to speak up about unsafe staffing, free from retaliation.

Whatever your story is, it’s important for reaching people and teaching people. Your story can make the difference in building the support from the community that helps us win a great contract, and your story can help encourage other Nurses to join our Union and make our movement even stronger.
