PCSTMC Bargaining Update 10

rom the beginning, we’ve been clear about our priorities:

  • Safe adequate staffing
  • Fair wages / no takeaways
  • Missed meals and breaks

But based on management’s counters, we were right to be concerned. The current proposals are designed to squeeze healthcare workers—asking us to do more with less.

  • Cuts to benefits
  • Increased healthcare
    premiums for families
  • Reduced meal discounts
  • Takeaways to retirement
  • Elimination of unpaid flex time
  • Return of delayed start / front
    flexing
  • Elimination of the earned Health
    Incentive

All takeaways. No respect. Time to fight back.

These proposals damage morale and create unsafe working conditions. We hoped our petition would raise awareness—we were mistaken. If you demand respect, refuse to do more with less and want action.
