As your Bargaining Team, we have started negotiating our new contract with management.  We submitted initial non-economic priorities on Friday, August 15. Management is reviewing our proposals and will respond next week.

Our Union proposed (among other issues):

• Time limits on investigations and disciplines
• Language to improve force-flexing and call-off order

We also improved language governing the RN and management committee that determines patient acuity.

Next bargaining dates: Tuesday, Aug. 19 Wednesday, Aug. 20

We will keep you updated on progress throughout negotiations.
