Contract negotiations are officially underway at JFK.

Your bargaining team has thoroughly studied the existing contract, and we’ve designed proposals based on your input. It is our mission to negotiate a contract that continues to value Nurses, protect patients, and ensure that we all have a voice and a seat at the table. We believe that a better healthcare system is possible, and we’re committed to raising standards.
We hope that management will be a partner in the process, but we know this—no one understands our hospital the way Nurses who care for patients every day do. To win a strong contract, we must all stand together in solidarity.

In the coming weeks, we will make proposals aimed at meeting the goals we all share:

• Bolstering safety and security for our patients and staff.
• Recruiting and retaining RNs who can build a career at JFK.
