Info Picket! Why Doesn’t Dignity Extend “Humankindness” to Employees?

Let’s show our unity by coming together with our brothers and sisters in UHW to picket Dignity’s attacks on St. John’s Regional and Pleasant Valley employees!

Dignity thinks it’s ok to:

  • Deny past practices.
  • Create negative patient care issues by subcontracting our bedside work to Registry nurses in order to avoid paying overtime.
  • Use travelers to fill float pool positions instead of hiring to fill the positions.
  • Refuse to process grievances in a timely manner.
  • Refuse to pay employees for their excess PTO at Christmas as required by our contract.
  • Disregard “just cause” and progressive discipline procedures outlined in our contract.
  • Cut staffing to unsafe levels, putting patients at risk!
