Anaheim RMC votes to unionize and join SEIU 121RN

Congratulations to our newest members! Nurses at Anaheim Regional Medical Center (ARMC) celebrated in August, after a sweeping majority voted YES to join SEIU 121RN. Now, more than 300 Nurses who work at the AHMC-owned hospital will gain union representation for the first time. Their patients will be safer, our union will be stronger, and the Nurses will be bolder, as they use their collective voice to bargain their first union contract.

Resolution supporting St. John's Regional Medical Center

Nurses and Monitor Technicians returned to the Oxnard City Council on September 25 to address the Community Services, Public Safety, Housing & Development Committee. This is the third visit our members have made to the council to fight the unsafe outsourcing of St. John's Monitor Techs to an Arizona data center. By now, the council should know that when it comes to patient safety, we don't give up!

November election isn’t about blue or red

Regardless of whether we are registered Republicans or Democrats, it is crucial to prioritize our Union and its members by seeking and cultivating regional political support, irrespective of party affiliation. Our focus should be on whether they will champion SEIU 121RN members’ issues.
