The predominantly Latino population of Oxnard is disproportionately impacted by cardiac health problems. As an essential support to nurses and an additional observer at the bedside, the loss of this role will have a significant impact—a loss the Oxnard community can't afford.
Oxnard City Council to Vote on Resolution in Support of Patient Care

Our visit to Oxnard City Council produced results. On Tuesday, July 30th, city council member will vote on a resolution that endorses and raises awareness about the repercussions of the cardiac monitor job cuts on the Oxnard community.
