Praise Healthcare LLC, an entity affiliated with Pacifica Hospital of the Valley owner Southwest Healthcare Services, withdrew its bid to purchase the struggling Madera Community Hospital. Asked about the company's plan to purchase another facility, our union president Leo Perez shared his concern: “If the money is there to acquire the facility,” [Perez] stated, “then why don’t you try to fix what you already have going on in your own facility that you own already?” Listen to the story on KVPR.
