We are getting close to the historic at Kindred La Mirada! A contract that helps retain quality Nurses and closes the revolving door. We hope Kindred management continues to listen to Nurses for ideas that truly impact workload and patient safety. Because we stand together and are willing to speak up about issues, we are making progress. It did not take long after Nurses spoke about rest breaks, that we now have a language in the contract that expands breaks. That's what this is about, when we voice concerns change occurs. Stay tuned and we will keep you updated.
