As we tallied the results of our strike vote last week one thing was abundantly clear—for their patients, and for their co-workers, Garfield Nurses are prepared to do whatever it takes.

To ensure AHMC retains quality Nurses; to ensure those Nurses have the resources they need to safely care for their patients; for faith in management's ability to protect Nurses when the next crisis hits...for respect.

For all of these reasons, an overwhelming majority of Nurses voted “Yes” to authorize a strike at Garfield Hospital!
