AHMC is not listening to our reasonable demands, high quality experienced nurses are leaving, time for El Monte Nurses to take action.

We’re shocked and disappointed. In our latest bargaining sessions, management rejected our retention bonus that would incentivize nurse retention and keep quality nurses at the bedside, and they responded to our compensation proposal with an insultingly low counter-proposal that would do absolutely nothing to draw nurses to our hospital.

AHMC management makes clear through their actions that they don’t care if Nurses want to work at El Monte. They don’t care that we routinely don’t have safe staffing levels. And they don’t care if our patients get a long-term Nurse at the bedside, or a temporary registry Nurse. 

Enough is enough.
