Jacqui Rum, worked as a nurse in HCA's "StaRn" pgram at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center. For thirteen months, Jacqui faced routine unsafe staffing, creating such intense pressure that it made her sick. Jacqui resigned from the hospital, but there was a catch: HCA wanted her to pay back $4,000 for an extended on-boarding experience they called training.
