Dear colleagues:

Some of you may have heard that Pacifica management will delay our next paycheck by one additional day. We don't agree with the hospital’s late payment of wages, but we understand and we appreciate the hospital working with us. At the request of several RNs, we're alerting you. We want to ensure no one is caught by surprise and to provide you with information about your options.

Please be on the lookout for your paycheck NO LATER THAN July 16. If you don’t receive your pay on Monday, please let me, a Union Steward, or our Union Rep/Organizer Mimi Holt know.

While hospital management maintains it’s “on the path to financial stability,” it will take all of us standing together to see that it happens.

Be sure to stay tuned as we will soon begin making our plans and preparations to sit down with management to negotiate our next Union job contract.
