Our SEIU Local 121RN Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement with management on our new Union contract, and then we ratified it!
Highlights:
- Accretion into SEIU 121RN contract and KP Coalition of Unions National Agreement.
- No increases to health insurance costs. RNs will be transitioned to health plans as negotiated during 2018 National Bargaining.
- Upon ratification, RNs will begin accruing educational leave.
- Hospital will adopt wage scale Level 5 in accordance with SEIU 121RN CBA.
- Wage increases for all RNs currently below scale. Upon ratification, they will receive increases of up to 4.25%, and in July they will receive additional wage increases totaling up to an additional 8.4% from their current rate.
- ATB raises as bargained during 2018 National Bargaining.
- Coverage under Kaiser Permanente Southern California Employees Pension Plan with a 1.45% multiplier.
- Cash buyout totaling 2.5% of employees’ annual earnings over the last year (Bonus~$2000 to $2750).
