If you are experiencing staffing issues such as being required to cover each other for breaks (taking you over the legal nurse-to-patient ratio) or the Charge RN having their own patient assignment while fulfilling the duties of the Charge, please fill out a Patient Safety form (Assignment Despite Objection) and give a copy to your Steward or fax a copy to (626) 395-7538.
