Assemblymember Anthony Rendon was sworn in as the 70th Speaker of the California State Assembly on March 7, 2016. 121RN President Gayle Batiste was present to hear Speaker Rendon make a commitment to continue to move California in the right direction. In addition, he reasserted his support for vital social services including healthcare for all.
