Management is insisting that we accept their health plan proposal, or they will not offer additional wage increases or benefit improvements. They only offered 1% wage increases for the next 2 years of a 4-year contract. We’re being held hostage to their health plan proposal!
Current HMO Coverage
- $5, $10, $25 for prescriptions
- Broad network of hospitals and providers
- Dependent students away at college can have procedures performed wherever they are.
- Fully covered health benefits for women at facilities other than St. John’s RMC & PVH.
St. John’s EPO Proposal
- $10, $20, $40 for prescriptions
- Scheduled procedures ONLY at St. John’s RMC and PVH.
- Dependent students away at college can ONLY have procedures done at St. John’s RMC or PVH. If out of town, must return to Southern California.
- Limits on health benefits for women.
We gave management notice that we will hold an Informational Picket from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at both Northridge and St. John’s Regional. Join us on your breaks or day off to support us and show management that we are serious about obtaining a FAIR CONTRACT!
