As part of the week-long activities in Los Angeles around Workers Memorial Day -- an annual international day of remembrance for those workers killed, injured, or made sick at work -- SEIU Local 121RN will participate in a "Safe Workers Save Lives" rally on April 29 at 10:30 a.m. in Cerritos.

Stand in solidarity with healthcare workers and patient advocates to say that enough is enough. Why aren't facilities stepping up to take care of their workers and patients when it comes to workplace violence? Healthcare workers deserve to be safe at work and if we aren't safe, how can our patients be safe?
