From January 5 through January 7, RNs overwhelming authorized our Bargaining Team to call an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike — with approval by 93% of those who voted!. Management has committed numerous ULPs, including:
- Changes to our working conditions without proper notification or bargaining over the changes.
- Violating Title 22 provisions.
- Not consistently providing relief so we can take our breaks and meal periods.
We will call for a strike if contract negotiations fail to improve and management does not rescind its unilaterally imposed changes. Your commitment to strike, once set, will send a message of unity and resolve.
A special thanks to everyone who came in to vote on their day off!
