RNs Vote YES to Join SEIU Local 121RN

By a blowout margin of 3-to-1, Registered Nurses at College Hospital Cerritos voted to join SEIU 121RN on Feb. 20. The successful election brings nearly 50 new RNs into the ranks of SEIU 121RN. Mental Health Workers and LPTs/LVNs at the inpatient mental health facility overwhelmingly voted to join SEIU-UHW on Feb. 15. Management waged an anti-Union campaign, bringing in an estimated six Union busters in their failed attempt to prevent College workers from joining together for improved patient care and working conditions.
