The hospital announced today that they are considering more layoffs. They said that unless nurses agree to be reassigned into float pools, as many as 75 RNs could be laid off, have their hours permanently reduced, or  be offered only per diem positions.

• Despite the fact that more and more staff have reported that they did not get their breaks during a shift.
• Despite the fact that more and more nurses have reported that they are working out of ratio.
• Despite the fact that managers are editing RN time cards to avoid paying overtime and penalties.
• Despite the fact that more and more nurses have reported that they can’t finish all their work in a single shift.
