We, the undersigned Nurses and other employees of San Dimas Community Hospital, stand in full support of our bargaining team as they fight for a contract that honors our contributions and protects our ability to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Therefore, we demand:

• Safe Staffing — Management must commit to improving retention for veteran Nurses while attracting the next generation of Nurses. Additionally, for the hospital to give proper break and lunch relief as to ensure patients are fully cared for at all times.
• Sufficient Equipment — The life saving equipment that nurses depend on are frequently broken, ill-maintained, or in drastic shortage. Our staff demands that this equipment be available and fully functioning so that we can better take care of our patients.
• Flexing and Cancellations — Flexing and cancellations have frustrated nurses who commit to go into work. Management must respect our work life balance.

Management at San Dimas Community Hospital should demonstrate that they value Nurses — not just with words, but with action. Burnout is a serious issue here, and management must listen to Nurses, and take our concerns seriously.
