Tim Tu is a Union Rep/Organizer with SEIU 121RN, with boots-on-the-ground experience and a fire for fighting the boss on behalf of Union Nurses. After joining the local in 2024, Tim set out as a Union Rep/Organizer at San Dimas Community Hospital, JFK Memorial Hospital, and Kindred Hospitals La Mirada, Ontario, and Rancho. Tim started his career with SEIU in 2014 under the Organizer-in-Training program, based out of San Bernadino. There, he worked as an organizer on a spirited campaign to unionize county employees who sought dignity and fair treatment in the workplace. With SEIU 721, he then helped lead a campaign to unionize per-diem Nurses in the Riverside University Health System. Following these organizing successes, Tim helped Nurses in the RUHS system assert their rights, by collecting and documenting evidence for grievances. Tim is fueled by a passion for workers’ rights, and he’s eager to work alongside Union Nurses at San Dimas Community Hospital.
