Brock Meade began his Organizing career at the University of Kentucky, where he led a campaign to introduce union-made apparel to the University bookstore, while pressuring the University to sever ties with sweat-shop brands.

His seven-year career as an Organizer and Union Representative has included work with both private and public sector Nurses, spanning contract negotiations to contract enforcement and more. With the Illinois Nurses Association, Brock helped Saint Joseph Medical Center RNs in Joliet win the biggest wage increases in their history and supported them in a landmark strike.

Brock is the Union Rep/Organizer at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. In 2023, he helped PVHMC Nurses win some of the strongest contract language in the history of their chapter history, by waging an incredibly effective contract campaign.

Brock whole-heartedly believes in Nurses’ ability to bargain-rather-than-beg for their rights.
