Why are we voting whether to strike?

• During contract negotiations, management has refused to meaningfully consider your Bargaining Team’s proposals that make sure all Nurses receive their full and complete meals and breaks.
• Management is refusing to offer compensation that reflects Nurses value at GMC and keeps experienced veteran Nurses at the hospital.
• Hospital safety and security: We demand security at every entrance on every shift.

Voting does not mean a strike will happen immediately. A strike vote shows Nurses are serious and committed to standing in solidarity with your Bargaining Team’s fight to win a contract for a safer hospital where management respects and values Nurses.
