Your Bargaining Team finished their third day of contract bargaining with Vista’s management with six important proposals:

• Adding more detailed and inclusive language to the hospital’s non-discrimination clause to protect more Nurses from unfair and unequal treatment because of their identity.
• Updating contractual language that if the hospital is sold, yet again, to another company, Nurses jobs and your rights as Union members, are protected.
• Streamlining the grievance and arbitration filing process to give Nurses more time to file grievances.
• Getting a union bulletin board installed in the breakroom so your Bargaining Team can better communicate with Nurses.
• A proposal to remove an arbitrary cap on the number of union stewards at the hospital.

Your Bargaining Team are diligently fighting for the issues and concerns you indicated are most important to you.
