Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Nurses voted YES on a new contract that respects their contributions and sacrifice. Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center nurses voted 88% in favor of the agreement, which includes:

  • Dedicated meal & break relief role
  • Language that ensures a balanced skill mix for patient assignments
  • Training for any nurse who hasn’t floated in a year
  • New health & safety language with in-person workplace violence training
  • Implementation of new metal detector wands at entrances
  • New public emergency article
  • Cumulative across-the-board wage increases of 19.1% over 3 years
  • Two new steps added: after 12 years and 16 years of expreience, at 2.5% each
  • New floating differential
