We fought for and won several Nurse and patient safety improvements, including restoration of our important wage scale that helps the hospital retain experienced Nurses. We also won safer floating language which ensures RNs have access to an additional four hours of orientation for any department we haven’t worked in within the previous six months. And we fought off management’s extreme proposals to dramatically change our healthcare coverage.
