On November 3, 2017, we successfully voted to form our Union with our sisters and brothers of SEIU Local 121RN! We are ready to fight to improve

• Staffing, because understaffing and failure to adhere to nurse-to-patient ratios puts our patients’ safety at risk.
• Job security, so that instead of worrying about finding additional jobs and being “at-will” employees, we can focus on caring for our patients.
• Equipment, because not providing us with the proper equipment to do our job correctly and safely is dangerous.
• Wages and benefits, because the care we provide everyday is unmatched in any other industry and we should be afforded a compensation package that reflects this.

Being part of a Union ensures that we have a say in decisions that affect our patients and our professions. Now we can vote for our Bargaining Team and negotiate our first contract at Southern California Hospital at Hollywood.
