121RN Fights RN Layoffs and Wins

After 6 months of negotiations, management finally rescinded all layoff notices for Registered Nurses at St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital.

All RNs who were to be affected will remain in their current job positions. Open jobs will be posted and follow the regular bidding process.

Congratulations to all RNs on this HUGE win for our Union. We’ve fought all layoffs vigorously over the past two years and not one RN has lost his or her job due to layoffs.
